Delhi- based ‘Aata Chakki walla’s son aces JEE Advanced Examination 33rd rank

The results of JEE Advanced Examination were declared at 10 a.m. today. A son of an ‘Aata Chakki walla’, Jatin Lamba achieved an all India rank of 33 in JEE Advanced Examination.

Jatin has been a brilliant student with excellent track-record since his childhood days.  He had scored an All India rank of 566 in JEE Mains Examination. He aced Class 12 examination with overall percentage of 97%.A student of Narayana Institute, Jatin was confident that he would break into top 50.

“I had expected to be in top 50. I used to get up early regularly and study till late night. My mom and Narayana institute has been a pillar of support,” says Jatin.

Organized by IIT Madras, the examination was held on 21 May 2017.Approximately 2.21 lakh candidates had registered and appeared for Joint Entrance Test (JEE) Advanced Examination. Candidates, who cleared the JEE Main or the first phase of the two-phase exams, were eligible to sit for the JEE Advanced.

The performance of a candidate in JEE Advanced forms the basis for admission to the bachelor’s, integrated Master’s and dual degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian School of Mines (ISM).
There are over 11,000 seats available in the 23 IITs across the country
